So Cal Shred is currently just a team of two – Neil and Rick, plus a mascot, Ramsey.
Neil, the owner, is a southern California native. He served as a pilot and officer in the Army before going to work for a very prominent theme park and resort in Orange County. After leaving there and taking a bit of time off to do some world traveling, he started SoCal Shred.
Rick just joined the team in August. He is also a SoCal native. Rick is driving the truck 2 days a week for the time being. He also served in the Army and the Reserves, and now resides in Buena Park with his wife and 3 kids. He runs the show when Neil is off the truck.
Ramsey is a Texas transplant. He’s 12 years old, but still moves around with the excitement and agility of a puppy! You wouldn’t know it by looking at him, but he’s only half German Shepherd. The other half is black Labrador Retriever. He loves to hike, camp, and play fetch with just about anything. You’ll occasionally see him riding shotgun (he doesn’t drive so well).
SoCal Shred LLC is a State of CA Certified DVBE and Certified Microbusiness. We are also a member of DVSU, the Disabled Veteran Shredding Union. www.dvsu.org
